Responsibilities
- Manage Financial Reporting: Oversee daily financial transactions, journal entries, and month-end close processes with precision.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform thorough reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Payroll Processing: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for the night operations team, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare supporting documentation and schedules for external and internal audits with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- System Management: Maintain and update financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to reflect current financial activities.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices adhere to GAAP and company internal controls.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Software: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is essential.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management abilities.
