Responsibilities
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and resolve discrepancies with vendors/clients
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements for financial workflows
- Collaborate with auditors during external examinations
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes for department heads
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proven expertise with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel functions
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shift
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
