Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing cycles including invoice generation, processing, and reconciliation
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and customer payment issues
- Collaborate with sales and accounting teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Optimize billing processes using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Generate monthly billing reports and financial analytics for leadership
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and billing policies
- Train junior billing staff on SOPs and system usage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on billing/accounts receivable experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks in high-volume environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certification (e.g., CPB, CBP) preferred
