Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures and financial reporting during overnight hours
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory compliance documentation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and forecasting
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) for transaction processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Proven experience with month-end closing and financial reporting processes
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in overnight shift environment
- Knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
