Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures and account reconciliations during overnight hours
- Process and verify financial transactions, including payroll and vendor payments
- Generate and analyze financial statements with attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during overnight review sessions
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- CPA or active pursuit preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy standards
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
