Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows)
- Process payroll and ensure accurate tax withholdings for night shift team members
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls to mitigate risks
- Support accounts payable/receivable workflows for after-hours transactions
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual financial reviews
- Maintain compliance with SEC regulations and Texas state financial laws
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience with night shift or rotational schedule
- CPA certification or active pursuit (preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during night hours with minimal supervision
- Proven experience with month-end closing and reconciliation processes
