Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures and journal entries during night shift hours
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts daily
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and prepare variance reports
- Assist with audits by providing documentation and supporting schedules
- Process payroll and accounts payable/receivable within nightly deadlines
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with day-shift team for seamless financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with night shift exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
