Responsibilities
- Monitor internal business processes to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and laws.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of necessary compliance documentation, reports, and audit trails.
- Conduct preliminary internal audits to identify potential risks and areas for improvement in operational procedures.
- Communicate updates regarding regulatory changes to the compliance team and implement necessary updates to policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance activities and training sessions.
- Participate in the development and delivery of compliance training programs for new staff members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in data and documentation.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly.
