Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the compliance department, ensuring all policies are followed.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Monitor legislative changes in Nevada gaming laws and adjust internal controls accordingly.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on regulatory requirements and ethical conduct.
- Investigate and resolve internal complaints or allegations of non-compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports for the Board of Directors and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or internal auditing.
- Deep understanding of Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) and Gaming Control Board regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
