Responsibilities
- Monitor, interpret, and implement changes in federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances to ensure organizational compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in operational processes.
- Develop and maintain a robust compliance program tailored to our specific industry needs.
- Prepare and present detailed compliance reports to the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
- Train staff on compliance policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and external regulators to address compliance issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, or industry-specific regulations).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Certification such as CCEP, CAM, or CRCM is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
