Responsibilities
- Process and post daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and accurate.
- Assist in the month-end closing process and prepare preliminary trial balances.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records and filing systems.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and spreadsheets using Excel.
- Reconcile credit card statements and verify expense reports for accuracy.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and payments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior accounting experience required; we value the right attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of math and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
