Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Process and reconcile daily financial transactions, including bank deposits and payments.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare basic financial reports, spreadsheets, and audit schedules.
- Support the Payroll and Accounts Payable departments as needed.
- Organize and secure physical and digital filing systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills a strong advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professional accounting skills.
