Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices and ensure timely payments within Net 30 terms
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor master data maintenance
- Implement and monitor internal controls for AP workflows
- Analyze payment trends and recommend process improvements
- Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting
- Manage 1099 processing and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with high-volume payment processing (1000+ invoices/month)
- Knowledge of sales tax regulations and compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- AP certification (CAPP) a plus
