Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Enter and verify invoices, receipts, and expense reports into our accounting software.
- Support the month-end close process by preparing basic financial reports.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital financial filing systems.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoice discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry skills.
- Basic understanding of math and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting field.
