Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Process payroll entries and ensure timely disbursement.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and spreadsheets.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist auditors with requested documentation during the fiscal year-end audit.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and double-entry accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
