As a Junior Accountant, you will support our senior finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and preparing reports. We value accuracy, integrity, and a strong desire to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and organize financial documents for audits and tax preparation.
- Enter and verify financial data into accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite).
- Generate basic financial reports and spreadsheets for management review.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain and update the general ledger as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- No prior professional accounting experience is required; we train the right candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are a plus).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
