Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support external audit requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely billing and vendor payments.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasting models.
- Maintain and improve internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and internal control best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines during month-end close.
