Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal and regulatory requirements.
- Process payroll entries and assist with year-end audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software.
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
