Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure tax compliance (federal/state)
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls
- Collaborate with leadership on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions for financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage complex financial operations and deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
