About the Role:
As a Junior Accountant, you will be the backbone of our financial operations. You will work closely with our senior accounting team to ensure accuracy in our financial records, assist with month-end close processes, and support our client accounts. Core Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process and post journal entries to the general ledger under supervision.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation support.
- Organize and digitize financial documents for compliance.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior professional accounting experience required (we value potential over experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of math and financial concepts.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
