Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Perform daily data entry and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary journal entries and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, under the guidance of senior management.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and timely.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
