Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns, ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct financial audits and assist external auditors with requested documentation.
- Assist in budget preparation and provide variance analysis to management.
- Maintain up-to-date financial records and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
