Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for review.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance filings.
- Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation.
- Perform variance analysis on budget versus actuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role, internship, or student status.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
