What You'll Do:
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger entries.
- Support the audit process by gathering and organizing financial documentation.
- Assist in payroll processing and data maintenance.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct research on financial regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookup are a plus).
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
