Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and credit card statements.
- Input and verify financial data into accounting software (QuickBooks/Excel).
- Prepare and organize financial documents and spreadsheets.
- Support the senior accounting team with month-end close procedures.
- Assist with basic financial reporting and data analysis.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for both digital and physical records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s degree in Accounting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in math.
- Basic computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software and processes quickly.
