Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and payroll support
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for accurate data management
- Collaborate with cross-department teams on financial reporting needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- QuickBooks or ERP software experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
