Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Support the internal audit process by organizing and reviewing financial data.
- Maintain the general ledger and update records in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero).
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation.
- Communicate with clients and internal departments regarding account inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
