Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements, tax regulations, and reporting standards.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial reports to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and manage budgets effectively.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial disclosures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
