Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance protocols
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models for executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and cost optimization
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement analysis and reporting
- Strong understanding of Tennessee tax regulations and compliance
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with exceptional accuracy
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial modeling
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
