Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor management and customer billing.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with external audits, tax filings, and internal compliance reviews.
- Provide financial reporting and analysis to management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
