Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ corporate clients including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead audit preparation and liaise with external auditors for Fortune 500 clients
- Develop and implement process improvements using ERP systems (NetSuite/Oracle)
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Mentor junior accountants and ensure compliance with GAAP/FASB standards
- Prepare complex tax filings and manage vendor relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance + CPA license required
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit coordination
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive stakeholders
- Experience in public accounting or financial services preferred
