Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures including journal entries
- Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow reporting
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor' s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Exceptional attention to detail with analytical problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant coursework in intermediate accounting or tax preparation preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
