Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain general ledger entries
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Support audit processes by gathering documentation and preparing schedules
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks) for transaction processing
- Contribute to budget variance analysis and expense monitoring
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- San Francisco Bay Area residency preferred
