Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit recommendations and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies
- Develop accurate financial models and projections for complex transactions
- Present findings clearly to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, financial modeling)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial ratios, and debt covenants
- Experience with credit scoring systems and risk assessment methodologies
- Certified Credit Professional (CCP) or CFA designation preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
