Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Investigate discrepancies, violations, or non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit required regulatory reports to governing bodies on a timely basis.
- Provide training and guidance to staff members on compliance-related topics.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and executive leadership to navigate complex regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or auditing.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., FINRA, SEC, or industry-specific regulations).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Professional certification (e.g., CFE, CIA, CCEP, or JD) is a significant plus.
