Responsibilities
- Monitor and Audit: Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., FINRA, SEC, BSA).
- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update company policies and procedures to ensure continuous compliance with evolving laws.
- Training & Education: Assist in delivering compliance training to staff members to foster a culture of integrity and awareness.
- Investigation: Investigate potential violations of policies or regulations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate reports to regulatory bodies and internal leadership regarding compliance status and findings.
- Vendor Management: Monitor third-party vendors to ensure they meet our compliance and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related field is a plus; however, no prior compliance experience is required as we provide the training.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory documents.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
