Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in business processes.
- Monitor changes in federal, state, and local laws and regulations, providing timely updates to the management team.
- Investigate reported incidents of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance policies and procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports on compliance status and regulatory adherence for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, auditing, or a similar regulatory role.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations such as SOX, HIPAA, or industry-specific compliance standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Certification (e.g., CCEP, CAM) is a plus but not required.
