As our Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliation. Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring tax filings and compliance are met.
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare financial statements for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and financial audits.
- Reconcile credit card statements and monitor expenses against the budget.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding invoices and account status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
