Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of credit applications and financial statements to determine creditworthiness.
- Monitor and manage existing credit limits and exposure levels for our portfolio.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for approval or denial.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to ensure consistent risk assessment standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes affecting credit risk.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of credit scoring models and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis or financial risk assessment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
