Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, ensuring strict adherence to bank policies.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to build lasting relationships and resolve inquiries effectively.
- Assist in the daily operations of the branch, including opening and closing procedures, balancing cash drawers, and reconciling daily reports.
- Introduce and sell bank products and services to customers, such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards, meeting individual sales goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and security requirements.
- Handle sensitive financial information with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; prior experience as a bank teller or in retail customer service is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.
- Must pass a background check and a credit check as part of the hiring process.
