Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashing checks, handling deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service to resolve inquiries and issues.
- Assist in the opening and closing of the teller drawer, ensuring all cash counts and audit logs are accurate.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services, such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment at the teller line.
- Assist with branch operations during peak hours, including queue management and ATM maintenance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior experience in banking, retail, or cash handling is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle large sums of money with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Fraud prevention awareness and adherence to all bank security policies.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
