Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop complex, scalable financial models and quarterly forecasts to predict revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Budget Management: Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring strict alignment with organizational strategic objectives and managing detailed variance analysis.
- Reporting & Analytics: Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets and P&L statements, for board meetings and stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization within the finance department to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of investment opportunities and market trends to support capital allocation decisions.
- Risk Assessment: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in financial analysis, preferably within the technology or financial services sector.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- SQL & Data Visualization: Strong ability to write SQL queries and utilize data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) to present actionable insights.
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
