Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows) for clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry standards
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Assist with audits and tax preparation processes
- Maintain organized financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- CPA certification or equivalent preferred
- Strong understanding of California tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
