As the Compliance Officer, you will serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory audits, ensuring our operations remain compliant with OSHA and local state guidelines while optimizing our equipment lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of company equipment and facilities to ensure full compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Manage and verify documentation for all provided equipment, ensuring tracking accuracy and regulatory readiness.
- Identify potential compliance risks related to equipment usage and implement corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with the operations team to interpret complex regulations and apply them to daily workflows.
- Investigate non-compliance incidents and recommend preventative measures to senior management.
- Train staff on proper handling of provided equipment and compliance procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance auditing, risk management, or equipment oversight.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and local Kansas compliance laws.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites within the region.
