Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations and financial transactions with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Process accounts payable invoices and assist with accounts receivable collections.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and general ledger entries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Perform basic tax preparation support and year-end close assistance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks) is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Professional demeanor and effective communication skills.
