Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ledgers, and balance sheets.
- Process payroll and ensure all tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documents and records.
- Communicate with clients regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to manage financial data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is a plus).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Reliable computer access and high-speed internet.
