Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Process and reconcile daily transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Bank Reconciliation: Ensure all bank statements and credit card statements are accurately reconciled to the general ledger.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize business expenses to ensure compliance with company policies.
- General Ledger: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and Excel.
- Assistance: Support the finance department with payroll preparation and tax document organization.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Experience: No prior accounting experience required—entry level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are a plus).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
