Responsibilities
- Perform daily data entry tasks, including inputting invoices, bills, and receipts into accounting software.
- Assist in the reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Generate and send invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Support the senior accounting team with month-end close processes and reporting.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding account inquiries and transactions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required (Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus).
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and a knack for spotting errors in numbers.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software (QuickBooks or Xero experience is a bonus but not required).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace if working remotely.
