Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely vendor and client payments.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Process weekly payroll accurately and efficiently for all employees.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax preparations in partnership with external accountants.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and reconcile credit card statements.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients, following up on outstanding balances.
- Assist in the month-end close process and prepare variance reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
