Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices, receipts, and bank deposits with high accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records and filing systems.
- Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and payments.
- Support the senior accounting team with month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- No prior bookkeeping experience required; we value potential over pedigree.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to changing workflows.
